plugin timed out while updating

Hey I have a couple of people trying too download my plugin and they are getting the following error plugin timed out while updating. They can download other plugins just not mine. Is there something I am doing differently or some error that I dont know about? Here is my plugin http://highlander2ndedlackey.net/Highlander2e/updatelist.txt

You don't have checksums in your updatelist.txt.
To make them, type "/mkupdate plugins/highlander2e/updatelist.txt" in your game log.
Then rename the updatelistNEW.txt file that is created to updatelist.txt, replacing your old one.

As far as the time outs, your host can be slow at times. That might be the problem. The images downloaded for me, but the downloads seemed slower than normal. At some times, the downloads from that host may be so slow that things time out.

Some of your images seem warped, like http://highlander2ndedlackey.net/Highlander2e/images/Phase6.jpg.

I suggest you batch crop out those LARGE and pointless white margins on every card. That can easily be done with photoshop automation. (I can do it if you ask.) That will reduce the file download size and allow for less wasted space.

Ok I am hosting it myself thought 4meg up speed would be fast enough to do it. But it wouldn't do it everytime if it was just slow?

Ahh yes I did forget too add the checksums I will add that too my next update.

As far as the White border on the images the cards themselves have white borders like that (the images I used were the images they printed off of) and it would just actually look weird to a player who plays with the cards IMO i could be wrong.

Also do you think since this game has a lot of cards in it I should split up the carddata.txt into sets?

You usually don't need to split up card sets into different files unless the files get to be pretty big, like around 500KB or so.

I suggest cropping out the borders. I hear your point of view, but I think the pros greatly outweigh the cons.

One thing the people who are having the download problems have no problem hitting my server like for instance http://highlander2ndedlackey.net/Highlander2e/. Could they just manually create the file structure and download the files? Since it is just two people having a problem at this point seems like a viable workaround updating might be tough though.
