Game connection issue.

My friend and myself just downloaded Lackeyccg today and everything is amazingly easy to accomplish with it. The problem we've hit is that we can't connect to each other's games. We're both having the same problem. Both of us can set up games. But when either of us try to join the other's the program becomes unresponsive and doesn't allow the connection. any help?

whoever is hosting the games probably needs to check the box next to "use proxy server?" when hosting
