"register name" issue

i get the message "your requested name is currently in use so you cannot use it either register your name, or try again in 50 seconds" then get kicked out of server can any one help me, or at least explain whats going on?

What name are you trying to use? Might someone else be using it. That is also the message you get if you get disconnected in some kinds of ways and you try to reconnect before your previous self times out on the server, hence the message to try again in 50 seconds.  Are you able to eventually get on.

do eventually get online but about a minute late get kicked off with the same message
