Feature Request: Game Saves
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:16:58 AM »
I was in a game earlier tonight when the server went down and as a result the game my friend and I were playing was lost so it got me to thinking. Would it be possible to add in a 'save game in progress every X' seconds/minutes/whatever sort of option?

I do know there already is an automatic game save that happens on Lackey, though I have not played around enough with it to know how reliable it can be.

The game already saves automatically every time the turn, or phase of turn, changes.

There are also 2 backup saves, in case there is something wrong with one. Revert to Auto Save 1 is the most recent save. Revert to auto save 2 is the previous most recent save.

Sweet. I got to wondering why I had never noticed this before however so I did a little experimenting. The autosave feature apparently does not function if you've never saved a game before (Meaning the saved folder doesnt exist yet).

There was a minor bug with this and now it is fixed.
