I am quite new to this (my first plugin) and wonder if there is a general function that will shuffle your discard pile back into your deck?

just right click on the tab for your discard pile and say "SEND TO:" and pick your deck.  then shuffle your deck.

oh ok so thats a normal game function?

if you mean you don't have to program it, then yes.  it's pre-configured in lackey to be able to do that, so you don't have to add anything special to the plugininfo.txt file to do it
