I think RakNet is a great networking engine.
Check it out at: http://www.jenkinssoftware.com/features.html

I'm looking for someone to help me out with some RakNet code. This would be enormously helpful to me, and would let me add huge improvements to Lackey, such as an end to the networking bugs, allowing people to host without proxy server, adding voice chat, and other awesome things.

If you would like to help, my request is for you to download RakNet, and compile the 3 sample projects dealing with NAT punchthrough, found at Samples/UDPForwarder/, Samples/NATCompleteServer/, and Samples/NATCompleteClient/. Based on the stuff in those projects, I'd like you to write a small proof of concept program where two people who are behind NAT can connect to each other. Those samples should do exactly that, but I haven't been able to figure them out. If you can get it working, please contact me via email or AIM (Lykos4).

YOU can help usher in a new era of Lackey awesomness!

I can't really help, but I was wondering what the status is on implementing this.
