Copies Of Creatures In Play?

Is there a way I can create a copy of a creature in play and have the card still have the art, etc. of the actual card?

For example...
Say I have a Soul Foundry in play and I imprinted a Rushwood Dryad, is it possible to create a creature token of Rushwood Dryad that is somehow marked as being a copy so that way I know it is just a token (the token part being significant so the game will know that it ceases to exist when it leaves the battlefield)
Does this feature exist?
And if it doesn't would it be difficult to implement?

The simplest way would be to spawn cards. That will be completely functional, and for the immediate future it will have to do as I'm working on more important things.
