Multiple Decks not loading properly...

In the WWE Raw Deal plugin, there are three deck zones:

Arsenal (Main deck)
Backlash (like a "side deck" only used during the game)
Backstage Area (where your starting cards are packed)

With the new version of Lackey, when a deck is "loaded to you", it always makes the Backlash Deck empty (which is required to play!)

Aside from putting all cards in the Backstage Area in the deck editor prior to "loading deck to you", any idea what's causing - or how to fix this issue?

I remade the plugin to try and fix it (figuring it may have been the plugin itself.) Unfortunately, I still got the same bug.

I did, however, come up with a workaround. You may want to post it on the Plugin Creation Tutorial at least until it's fixed.

Here's what I did:

I created an extra SUPERZONE labeled "Misc".

When in the deckbuilder, you add cards to this "deck/zone". They will show up, even if you save and reload the deck. However, when you "Load to You", the deck/zone will be EMPTY.

On the upside: This can be used as a decent tool when building/tuning a deck. For example if you are undecided on running Card "x" or Card "y" in your deck, you can simply put Card "x" in your deck and throw Card "y" in the "Misc" deck/zone. When tuning your deck later on, you can swap the cards out with ease.

On the downside: It *may* also be used to "cheat" in some games (where sideboard cards are used, as you could "hide" cards in this zone and swap 'em out between games.)

Fortunately for us Raw Deal players, tournament games are "1 Fall" (not best 2 of 3!)

I also threw the updatelist.txt file in the /rawdeal/ folder at least until you can get the real location updated in the master updatelist file.

There are a number if problems with this plugin.

All card images should be the same dimensions as the cardback.jpg file. It looks like all your card images are the same, bigger size. All the card images seem to be 250x350 (or 350xs250). Also there is a large black border on each card. I suggest you crop that out. I can batch edit them all if you don't know how to.

You seem to not have a lot of the card images. For example, there is no image for "3 Minute Warning" at http://www.rawdealplanet.com/rawdeal/images/. You plugin says it should be at http://www.rawdealplanet.com/rawdeal/images/3minutewarning.jpg

You stat names and phase of turn names don't need _ in place of a space. Use "Superstar Ability" and "Fort Rating". Why would you need a stat for "Hand Size" when you can see the actual count of the number of cards in your hand?

There seems to be a similar problem with both the L5R and the WoW plugin.
It loads the main deck and side deck but not the Hero deck (in WoW).
And not the dynasty deck in L5R.

The images are a work in progress. Unfortunately we don't have all the scans we need, so we've got a few people "remaking" all of the images from photoshop templates. It's long and tedious, but when all is said and done the cards will have all of the errata and rules clarifications.

I've been uploading pictures as they are completed. Should I change the carddata file to have an empty space for the images that haven't been uploaded yet?

(Also, we Raw Deal players love the game so much images haven't been such a huge deal yet. We've already got weekly Lackey tournaments going.)

In deck construction, the "Superstar" you build your deck around (much like the "Hero" in World of Warcraft) has a trait called "Starting Hand Size", which is how many cards you start with in your hand. This allows different characters a certain amount of balance according how good their superstar ability is (or isn't, as the case may be.)

At the beginning of the game there is a "Pre-match Phase", where each players can play cards from their side deck (Backlash Deck) for different effects (increasing hand size/decreasing opponent's hand size/etc.) The Stat for Hand Size I added to the plugin was just for calculating purposes, like a "notepad" type of thing. (i.e.- "My printed Hand Size is 8. +2 for my Title Belt. +2 for The Rock's Shades. Now -1 for your Pre-match. =  11)
