Plugin manual update

Hey guys. I downloaded someones L5R update. How would I go about applying this to my lackey? Just c copy and paste the files or is there another means to properly do that?

Yeah, just drop the files into the plugin folder. Should work OK.

Actually you put all the set images in that folder.. if you just put it in the plugin folder it wont load into the set images folder

What about the text documents included? They have the same name as other text documents in there. What do I do with those?

You need to preserve the folder hierarchies. This is one reason manual plugin installation is not preferred. Making an autoupdate file is easy and all plugin makers should use that method. Let me know if you're a plugin maker and don't know how.
