Next turn skipping a turn and Save games

I'm playing the LotR LCG plugin. It gives me two players as default for a game. Playing as a single player, it won't let me remove one of the players, and if I click "next turn" it skips from Turn 0 to Turn 2, then 4, then 6. How do I make it go in single steps?

Also, is there a way to "Save As" to be able to save multiple games in progress?
