The plugin is timing out every time I check for a update (It was working fine last night, UK time)

The reason is simple: We are at the moment issuing a complete rewrite of the plugin - hence it times out. It should be available this evening. For more information go to this thread at the trekcc forum.

Excellent. (although, having looked through the new cards the less said about You Are A Monument  the better).
