I am looking to save a card pool online and use the url to access it.  I am not having any luck getting the url button to work.  It seems to just sit there when you click on it.  I am wondering if I am doing it wrong.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Trevor

What is the URL?
You are supposed to have the URL in your clipboard before you click the button.

The URL is:
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B3drdt_TyM7vOEdXN1M3WHlzb3M
I copied it and then clicked on the URL button in the card pool area and nothing happens

The file suffix of the URL needs to be .txt or .dek. That is not the same thing as a link that will start a download of a .txt or a .dek file.
Also, if it is password protected, it will not work.

Another thing you can do is copy the contents of the file to your clipboard and then left-click the PASTE button in the deck editor.

Any suggested hosting places?

Any place you can store a simple text file online should work as long as it uses the standard URL format (as opposed to the script thing google docs seem to do).

I haven't had any luck finding a place to store it and access it correctly.  I am looking to do it this way because a few of us share a common card pool and when one of us gets new cards, they can update the one card pool and we can all see it.  Would anyone know of a place to store them?

http://www.angelfire.com and www.webs.com are free host sites. I'm not sure what your needs are regarding access. You need FTP?  You can still use google docs or anything else if you just copy the stuff on the site to your clipboard and use the Paste button. (You may need to export as txt for this to work.)
