Download Failed. Error = 0x800C0006

I have four friends' who are all attempting to play MTG. We can load lackey, but cant connect to the server. When we do it informs us that we need to update it.

We go to update lackey using the LackeyCCG updater (after closing lackey) and we get an error message "Download failed. Error = 0x800C0006 the system cannot locate the object specified."

The servers are confirmed as online and people are playing online.  (confirmed through the https://lackeyccg.com/status/ website)

We have attempted redownloading lackey, running the update from an extracted and unextracted zip file, and attempted to run as administrator.

Is the server the update tool points to for files down, or are we missing something?

figured it out. You need to clear your download entirely.

once done you redownload and dont run the updater.

it will play properly
