Need help creating a new plugin

I'm trying to create a plugin for Phantasy Star Online Episode 3. It's a Gamecube game that played exactly like a card game would. http://youtu.be/boO3VFLLJuI here's a video showing the gameplay. I made a folder and called it pso. Made the plugininfo.txt with <plugin></plugin> being the only thing in it and placed that in the pso folder. After that I placed the pso folder along with the other plugins. When I open up Lackey I can see it but it won't let me load it. Is there something else I have to add before it lets me try it out?

your best bet is to copy the default plugin or a plugin you like into a new dir and edit it rather than starting from scratch.. otherwise I would post the file text itself so people can see it, otherwise there is little we can do to help.

Lots of people forget about the cardback.jpg. You need BOTH the plugininfo.txt and cardback.jpg where they belong to load a plugin. Everything else is optional, but those 2 files are not.
