Unable to connect through WANIP

I'm continually seeing the message that I am unable to connect to the game matching server through the WANIP, and then it tries to connect via the LANIP. It fails and says that there is an error. Shucks. My lackey is updated fully and the Build date is 08-27-13 for the Macintosh. Any ideas to solve this?
