The friend who showed me lackey has warned me that if I were to add another plug-in now that I have one, all the decks I have saved will disappear.

Is this true? if there a way to save those decks? when switching from plug-in to plug-in are the saved decks wiped?

I'm not sure about that but if you update a plug-in that is not one of the common plug-ins, you run the risk that something will go wrong and you will loose all of the images you have previously downloaded. I'm guessing this is because the plug-in looses it's sponsor website, but I'm not sure. i would recommend backing up your lackey directory from time to time just in case.

That's not true. All decks are stored in:
Lackey's Folder/plugins/PLUGINNAME/decks/

Each plugin stores decks for it in its own folder.

And when you update an existing plugin, or add a new plugin, your old decks will not be affected. Obviously, if you were to manually delete a plugin, the decks associated with that plugin will be deleted, and this is by design.

Remember that unless you hit either the "Save Deck" or "Export as txt" buttons, your deck will not be saved. You can add cards and load them to you and even play games fine, but the deck will not actually be saved unless you hit either of those 2 buttons. Remember, hitting the "Load to you" button does not implicitly save the deck. It merely loads that deck to you so you can play it.
