Insane CCG Ideas

So I got this idea based on something Mark Rosewater said about the "un" sets (unglued and unhinged). He basically said that many mechanics in magic today actually were inspired by these sets.

So to maybe inspire folks and give them curious new ideas, what are the weirdest/worst/most broken CCG ideas that you can come up with for a game in general, a resource system, or anything else CCG related?

a tcg where your ability to play cards and stuff stemmed from the artwork on the cards. for example, cards could be greyscale bt could have blue colouring on objects if it was a blue card (like a film noir setting). or if you wanted to play a card representing investigation, you could look at the card artwork, see a newspaper being held up and play cards/interrogate etc. based off of that

playing a creature card that had multiple characters in the artwork (like thugs) could let you pick multiple ppl inside and put them to sleep. that sort of thing

Surprised furoticon hasn't been heard of around here, it's oddly one the few successful start ups with actual printed cards as of late! But yes, WTF seems appropriate. They still have a pretty well designed game though. (I disabled the card art, and just tried to sift through the lists of cards.)

The card artwork lending to their play is interesting! They actually did that in Unhinged I think, there was a card that gave bonuses to any creature that was drawn by the artist you declared.
