distorted image sizes

im creating the plugin for my megaman card game and im pretty much done with the plugin, the only problem i have is when i move a card to the field, the dimensions of the card become distorted and it appears as a square on the field, instead of the rectangle "2.5x3.5"  inch standard card size

and in the deck it looks even more distorted, i cant figure out why this is, some one please help

Make sure your card images are the same size as your cardback.
