Open Tournaments

I thought of a new tournament variant which will probably sit well with games like WoWTCG. In this tournament each player chooses a Hero to play from the new set, and few deck options that work with it from the new set. Like a fighting game that you pick a character and then its weapon like soul caliber. What do you think?
