I'm afraid all pre-Battle bond tokens are temporarily down. If all goes according to plan, they should be back (and with consistent, more searchable names) in a week or so.

No, DFC never deleted themselves. I usually just put the spawned backside on top of the original.

I found that cards in Portal aren't showing the right images. I'll look at that when I can.

Tokens should now spawn and display correctly for Battlebond, Commander 18, Archenemy: Bolas, Global Series 1, and M19.
Let me know if you find any missing or incorrect spawn scripts or token images in those sets.

I plan to work my way backward, adding tokens to more sets, starting with the more recent ones.

I also plan to standardize card scripts more. Please feel free to reply here about scripts you particularly want (not that everything's possible), or that you've seen in the plugin previously but find extraneous. For instance, does anyone actually use the scripts on some planeswalkers that increment their loyalty and announce in chat which ability you're using, or do you just click the counters yourself?

Also, does anyone use / like the sounds? I could look into adding those back in for recent sets, if there's a demand.

I can't take much credit for Magic's card scripts?I've learned most of them though reading the ones already in the plugin before I took it over.

I see you solve this problem by putting what I assume is the set name into the names of your tokens, like "Normal Leg Xelion [ASR]". I was hoping to avoid doing that for Magic, but it might be the best option.

It can actually spawn multiple cards, if you use "/spawnx3 cardname" for instance.

So far the Magic plugin has been using the same syntax in the carddata file, like "<s><l>Spawn Warrior</l><f>/spawn Warrior White 1/1 Token</f></s>". What's the syntax for spawning a card from a specific set?

Huh, the zero-cost kobolds were grouped by themselves instead of with red cards, and it threw off the order of everything. Fixed now.

Note that because I'm fixing this on the same date as the previous update, your plugin won't automatically download the new file, but it should if you tell it to update from the URL.

Anyone know a way to tell the spawn command which set you want? For instance, "/spawn Altar's Reap" just grabs the one with the latest set name, alphabetically. Is there a way to do something like "/spawn bfz/Altar's Reap"? I've tried out a few different syntactical guesses with no luck.

I'm glad that worked out. I don't know how or why Lackey just forgets some of its preferences like that, but it certainly can be jarring.

I just uploaded another update. Battlebond, Commander 2018, Global Series: Jiang Yanggu & Mu Yanling, and the schemes from Archenemy: Nicol Bolas should all be there. They (and M19 now, as well) have some basic scripts: ETB tapped, planeswalker loyalty, and flying.

The big thing left at this point is tokens. Tokens have been handled all sorts of different ways over the course of the plugin, saved with their names in all different formats, and I want to take the time to sit down and figure out a better system for them. Once that's done and the tokens themselves work, I'll update these latest sets with their convenient token-spawning scripts.

Hi Trevor, I'm not sure when you'll next be working on Lackey, or if this any kind of priority, but would it be possible to have nicer-looking resizing of card images in the view pane? Depending on how big the original image is, it's pretty pixelated when resized smaller, making text particularly hard to read.

(This just became much more noticeable after I switched to pulling from Scryfall, which uses a larger image size than Magiccards.info used to.)

Oof. Yeah, it seems worse on some than on others. Unfortunately I have no control over the interpolation method used within Lackey, nor over the size provided by Scryfall (without saving and serving thousands of images myself). I've always used the "card stretch" feature, but the interpolation is definitely more noticeable now. I don't know when Trevor will next get a chance to do any work on Lackey, but maybe I could post about it in the bug section since there's none specifically for feature requests.

Sounds good. I just noticed that aftermath cards don't fetch their images. I'll fix that in the next update.

THANK YOU! Specific examples help so much. Turns out I made an error in the updatelist: I'd left out a file declaration, so it wasn't downloading those sets. I just uploaded a new version. Can you update your plugin and see if the cards show up now?

I've also gone in and fixed images for?I believe?every card already in Lackey, except for tokens. I even noticed a handful of planes and schemes were missing, so I put those in too. Obviously that's a hard thing to test exhaustively, so I appreciate a heads up if you find more cards missing entirely, with missing images, or with incorrect images.
