According to the tutorial, a crit or commoncrit in a pack definition "can be IS, CONTAINS, DOESNTCONTAIN,ISGREATERTHAN, among others."

One would hope that "ISLESSTHAN" is included in that mysterious "among others". I want to exclude some cards from a pack definition, but this results in a completely empty pack:

Trying "DOESNTCONTAIN" returns cards just fine. Has anyone else had any luck with these?

This update is mostly tweaks and bug fixes. Most important: the plugin should no longer make a folder named "con" (for Conflux images), which is a reserved name and difficult to delete on Windows. I tested and was unable to get Lackey to reliably delete the old "con" folder, so... sorry about that, if you have one. There are tutorials about ways to get rid of it, if you need to.

I've also added the new cards from the Game Night decks, the M19 Gift Pack, and the latest holiday card, Bog Humbugs. Guilds of Ravnica now has the full-res images. Smelt-Ward Minotaur was misspelled previously, so if you have it in any saved decks you'll need to re-add it.

I'm taking a look at the pack definitions. I'm going to try to update those next.

Guilds of Ravnica is now live! Scryfall doesn't have high-res images yet; using temporary versions for now.

I'm trying out serving all images from my host now, which means I've been able to downscale them back to the size MagicCards.info used to use. You will get cards on the table displaying at different sizes unless you delete your [Lackey folder]/plugins/magic/sets/setimages folder containing the now unused large Scryfall images. Hopefully these will load faster and look better in Lackey.

I also added spawn scripts to Kamigawa-style flip cards. They now generate a "token" of themselves flipped, so you can actually read them without craning your neck.

TL;DR: I probably have to change over the plugin's images AGAIN, but while doing so I can go back to the old size.

Having noticed one card (Ice Age Zur's Weirding) not displaying, I checked and its image URL on Scryfall has completely changed. I asked about it, and it appears they're planning on changing their image storage system, which means I will no longer have dependable URLs from which to pull image files. (A URL like https://api.scryfall.com/cards/ice/110?format=image&version=border_crop redirects to whatever the current URL is just fine, BUT... Lackey unfortunately cannot handle HTTP redirects when it requests images.) So I guess I have no choice but to download all the images from all of Magic to my server, and host them there.

The bright side of that is that since I'm serving them anyway, I could go ahead and size them down to the size the plugin used to use from MagicCards.info. The down side is that I don't trust my server uptime as much as I trust Scryfall's. Right now, if I have a connection issue, it just means you can't update the plugin that very moment, but you can still download images just fine.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up ahead of time. I haven't changed anything yet. If Scryfall starts moving more of their images before I do, you may find more cards here and there that won't download.

Let me know if you find any missing or incorrect spawn scripts or token images in those sets.

I plan to work my way backward, adding tokens to more sets, starting with the more recent ones.

I also plan to standardize card scripts more. Please feel free to reply here about scripts you particularly want (not that everything's possible), or that you've seen in the plugin previously but find extraneous. For instance, does anyone actually use the scripts on some planeswalkers that increment their loyalty and announce in chat which ability you're using, or do you just click the counters yourself?

Also, does anyone use / like the sounds? I could look into adding those back in for recent sets, if there's a demand.

Anyone know a way to tell the spawn command which set you want? For instance, "/spawn Altar's Reap" just grabs the one with the latest set name, alphabetically. Is there a way to do something like "/spawn bfz/Altar's Reap"? I've tried out a few different syntactical guesses with no luck.

Hi Trevor, I'm not sure when you'll next be working on Lackey, or if this any kind of priority, but would it be possible to have nicer-looking resizing of card images in the view pane? Depending on how big the original image is, it's pretty pixelated when resized smaller, making text particularly hard to read.

(This just became much more noticeable after I switched to pulling from Scryfall, which uses a larger image size than Magiccards.info used to.)

1) M19 is uploaded.

2) Please delete your existing [Lackey Folder]/plugins/magic/sets/setimages folder so that new images can be downloaded.

3) If you have any saved decks including double-faced cards from Innistrad, Dark Ascension, or possibly origins, you will have to manually re-add those particular cards.

Explanations/elaborations:

1) M19 is pretty bare-bones. Literally the only script is the one to transform Bolas, and I've not yet updated the formats. (I also haven't done Battlebond yet.)

2) Scryfall took over Magicccards.info. Requests for MCI image URLs now redirect to Scryfall, but Lackey isn't smart enough to get the image it's redirected to, so they no longer work. I went ahead and changed the entire plugin over to Scryfall's images. Unfortunately, they're a different size than what we've been using. If you have existing image files and download new ones now, things will look weird in Lackey. Sorry, I know it's inconvenient. Also, I've only changed over actual Magic cards for now?tokens will be broken until I figure out their new image format.

Addendum: I didn't realize that Magiccards.info stored a lot of older sets in some sort of nonstandard order, making the images not come up for the right cards. Most cards that have multiple art in the same set don't even load anything. I'll see if I can figure this out tomorrow. Modern sets should work?I'll keep checking to make sure I haven't missed anything.  Should be mostly fixed?see post below.

3) The plugin stored Innistrad and Dark Ascension DFC as one card, with the night side on the back. This makes physical sense, but doesn't let you manifest DFC. Sets from Shadows onward instead give you a script to spawn a token-like back face from the front face, and Origins, confusingly, did both. I've gone back and standardized it so now they all work the new way.

Sorry for my absence. Things have been hectic for me. As my life settles back down, I intend to continue getting the plugin back into proper up-to-date shape.

Dominaria isn't up on Gatherer yet, but I made a new script to pull from Scryfall, since they already have the full card text. There will probably be higher-res images later, but for now I'm pulling from the ones that are there. I've not yet uploaded any tokens.

I've not updated the Standard and Modern formats yet, since rotation is still a few weeks out.

I also added the Hasbro promo cards.

Someone mentioned to me that as of the latest update of the Magic plugin, every time he opens Lackey, it tells him there's a new update (even though there isn't). Is anyone else getting this message?

Hey... sorry I've been gone for a while. I finally got around to figuring most of this stuff out, and Rivals of Ixalan is now uploaded. It doesn't have any scripts yet besides transforming double-faced cards, so things don't know to come in tapped, for instance, but the text and images are all there (except for tokens). Next up is Unstable, then filling in the scripts and tokens.

I just updated the plugin several times today, as I figured out issues, and Lackey's autoupdate feature only checks against date, so if anyone autoupdated today, you may have to manually tell it to upload now, to have everything correct. Feel free to let me know here if you find any cards without images, incorrect names, anything like that.
