I see some errors from the captcha in the log file. Should be good now. I'll check back after you've had a chance to try again and see what the log files show.

Little update for those interested. I set aside a bit of time this evening to dig into the issue. It seems like the two things are related. Some error with how the server is processing htaccess. I'll get in touch with the host, which given what's going on in the world could take a while.

for the longest time, i had an issue accessing this site apparently https://www.lackeyccg.com/forum/ access the forum fine atm. last bookmarked link I had was https://lackeyccg.com/forum/index.php made everything white

Ya, that one I'm aware of. The only fix I have for it at this time is to use www in the domain. https://www.lackeyccg.com/forum/index.php, the access redirects traffic to the https side for www.lackeyccg.com and I had to jump through a bunch of hoops with the host to even get the SSL certificate to work. Just for some odd reason it is not working for the base domain (even though it's set to).

Also in regards to the nav bar disappearing, I'm also aware of that problem but I just have not had time to dig into finding the cause of it.

He's right. I just double checked for myself. Windows 10 does not like dealing with folders or files named con.

General Discussion Forum / Cleantalk Antispam
April 01, 2020, 08:18:57 PM
Not long ago I installed a new plugin for the forum called Cleantalk to help manage the amount of spam accounts that I was having to deal with every day. It managed to block a few hundred right away and I was able to monitor it relatively easy so I decided to fork out the money for 3 years of their service. There have been a couple false positives, but I was able to handle those with a lot less hassle than it used to take me every day with all the bot accounts and spam posts I had to fight. In the process I was also able to get the SSL certificate for the site created and installed, which took a little doing on its own but has proven to help so far. In the end, if you find yourself managing a forum and you're having trouble with spam then give them a look see. They've got plugins for most of the popular forum and wiki base software suites. https://cleantalk.org

Trevor is aware of it, but he was out of town at last word. Said he was gonna try to get a friend to reset it.

I don't play as much as I used to, but I would tend to use the phase buttons especially if something complicated was going on or about to. Storm decks especially come to mind or decks with a lot of upkeep happenings.

It's back online now. Trevor must've gotten it sometime during the day.

I've still got the plugin, but the image quality on it is terrible. The whole plugin compressed is 14.7MB, so not all that big. Are you wanting to make a better version of it or something?

I don't have a problem with people seeking support for their games here. Kind of wish the subject of the post was a bit more to the point and listed like the game's name or something but that's just a preferences thing for me. I'd also be interested to know if there were plans to bring a version of the game into Lackey.

All listed plugins confirmed as working as of 10/10/2019.

It's because he is using a dropbox to host his files, which is no longer accessible to the public.

If you hover your mouse over the card in the deck editor, the full text should show up as floating text over the card image after a moment. At least that's how the magic plugin works. If your plugin doesn't do that then you may want to look over the magic one and see what it does differently.
