They are saving now. I changed something on my PC.
What turned out to be the problem? I get reports like this often and I'm not sure what to tell people since it doesn't seem to be a problem with lackey.

Hey just a heads up - I went through this process just now and when I updated with the new URL all of my decks disappeared.  Cardpools carried over just fine but, for some reason, all of the decks just reverted to the default ones that come with the plugin, all of mine were gone.

I recovered them using backups, but just FYI this very odd behaviour occurred.  I've never had Lackey lose a deck in all the years I've been using it, so I have to assume this new update-URL and the loss were somehow connected.

Be warned - backup your deck folder before you update, just in case.
It is very unlikely that a different URL would cause decks to be deleted. It seems more likely that something else happened, like you have a second installation of lackey or something else. If that were the case, this should be repeatable and other people would experience it. I haven't taken a close look at that plugin, but I don't think decks would be deleted. Decks that come with the plugin might get reverted to their default state if you had edited them, but not deleted I wouldn't think.

If someone wants to pm me their instant message contact info I can troubleshoot with you. I don't know if this is a bug or a mistake with a plugin (or the plugin's web host).

I'm not exactly sure I follow what you're trying to do, but autoupdate urls update files. You can't say "update everything in this folder". You have to list everything in the folder by the file name specifically. You can also uninstall old files if you want/need to.

It's possible the site that hosts that plugin was down when you tried. Is it still not working? Can you visit the link in a web browser?

Bug Report Forum / Re: Literally nothing happens..?

This could be caused by a number of things. For example, if you were running lackey from a place you don't have write permission to. Instant message me and I can troubleshoot with you. IM me your preferring instant messenger contact info if you want me to help you figure it out.

It is strongly suggested that you use a single CardGeneralURLs if you use that method. This requires you making the card image file names unique. I suggest you rename the files to something like asots116.jpg for card 116 in the set asots for example. I would also suggest you make file and folder names all lower case since some servers care about that.

So you could store all card images in a single directory, like http://gameofthroneslcg.square7.ch/high/cards/asots116.jpg

btw You have some extra quotes in your card data file btw. Excel can be stupid and add those into your file if you aren't careful.

I think one of your plugins was updated sooner than your other.

Your card images are rather huge. I suggest scaling them down. You also have a bunch of " in the card names, likely added by excel.

If I got enough money for one, I'd make one. It would be pretty simple to port, I would think. What model of android would you suggest would make a good device that is typical of android devices?

I think you should tweak the size and contrast of some of your fonts for when it is printed at actual size. If you can't read text easily when you shrink it down to 200 pixels wide, it usually implies your font choices need to be tweaked.

Not sure about the choice of a boxing glove for an icon. Seems to clash with your flavor.

I want to make a plugin that makes players rely on the card pool, is it possible to do this? If so, how?
There is no way for you to force them to rely on a card pool.

Bug Report Forum / Re: Settings and Preferences Problem
October 10, 2014, 07:48:14 PM
This could be caused by a number of things. Some computers have automatic restore settings. You might be using a plugin the accidently overwrites your preference file. You might be trying to save preferences to a folder where you don't have full write preferences. Etc.

So I got sent a image from the iPad version....

As you can see there is a lot of room taken up with buttons, that are accessible from the right click menu on the cards, or the keybindings on computer.

Would you guys like me to remove a ton of those buttons.. all those +1 / -1  Token buttons?
you can shorten it to Y+1 instead of Yellow+1 and if a button isn't used often, you can just remove it from appearing below the table, in which case people could right click the card (or the table if it's a general function).

Also, indigo isn't spelled with an e.
