Title: unrelesed yugioh

Well Yugioh was one of my favorite tv shows of all time! the original abbrigged series and enter the shadow realm etc. and i felt that how cool would it be to have  a game exctly how it was in the show.. kind offf? basiclly its incredibly easy to make those cards in the show that never appeared into A fan set or a sperate fan game.. i was thinking a seperate fan game would be better and i already have some cards made up tell me if you like it please. and thanks oh p.s. the card layout will be exactly how it is in the real game but maybe the one in the tv show would be cool to..

it could be great if they would cost speed counters like the banned spells they reused as speed spells, should be speed trap and monsters.

Most of the speed spell cards were once banned normal spells. They can only be used in special field spells: "speed world" or "speed world 2". With every turn, yours or the enemy, you gain 1 speed counter. All speed spells have either a requirement for a certain number of counter for you to have or to spend them. The maximum counters is 12. In Speed World 2, you can spend certain abilities of it, available to both players.

I like your idea. If their were counters or some resource systems, I see every banned, lmitied and lame card suddenly with merit, especially with the synchro summons. Bring Zorc!

sweet sounds cool! i mean as long as you know how to play the game why not. heh anyways ill get right to making some of the speed cards.. and you tell me if they look ohk?

The speed spells are a really horrible game mechanic since they're way too slow to play. Most of them require at least 4 counters so waiting 4turns to play a spell which may or may not be worth it in the end since your opponent will probably have more than enough cards set to counter what ever is thrown at him by just 1 speed spell and the range of effects they can do limited. They're more of a thing to make riding (turbo) duels in the anime more fun ,not something to be taken seriously.

I don't recommend you making any of them.

you gain speed counters on you enemies turn as well
Howl can state that everyone start with 4 speed counters
also, not all speed spells cost speed counters, but just require to hav several of them
also due to its speed spell, only traps and counter spells can stop it, and that's their function

my solution, limit the traps by having thier own counter, thus brinig back some limited/banned traps as well from the grave

yudencow try running a deck on Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia with just as much speed spells as you normally run spells(6-10) and tell me how fast that plays for you. Trust me I've played with speed spells and I know what i'm talking about. Limiting traps by giving them counters would slow the game even further down, heck why not make monster counters as well while you're at it so you'd basically be discarding 1/3 of the cards you draw since you can't play them and your hand would over flow.

I said Most of them require at least 4 counters, I didn't say cost 4 to play just require you to have. Please do read what I say thoroughly before making a comment.

I'llhave to put a rule like spell counters on them so that players won't get confused .

Do you imply that it includes those bizarre Duel Kingdom rules where each field grid give your monsters 30% boost instead of the simple +200 ATK and DEF? No, thanks. I would like to see how Great Moth evolution lines play out, though.
