Title: iPad: loading a plugin kills the app and resets some preferences.
Post by: TriOpticon on February 15, 2015, 06:56:19 AM
I have a plugin loaded and then I will choose the rage plugin. This does not always happen but it usually crashes the app and I have to restart.  When I do, it appears to have reset a few preferences that I changed. For instance, it asks if I want to do the tutorial, even though I had it turned off. Also, all sounds are changed back to the default when I had them all turned off.

I think bad plugins really need to be handled better, especially since I have no way of editing them on the iPad.

I will definitely investigate this. What autoupdate URL did you use to install the plugin? Is this crash only on iPad or desktop as well?

This is only on iPad.

The rage and SmashUp ones seems to cause the most issues

Those plugins have case-sensitive errors.

OK, so I will manually change those on my desktop copy and load them manually and see if I have any other errors with them.  It would be great to get the Delete button enabled so I can delete the improperly cased ones.
