If I copy the "Preferances.txt" file and "PlayerProfile.txt" to this new version of lackey from an old one will everything work correctly, are they compatible? I am asking because my old version of lackey can't update and can't join the server (heard it's intentional). If not is there any other way?

the preference files are compatible but that won't solve your issue. I'll post an update to the reported bugs ASAP.
