Title: Playing on my laptop- I'd like to swap the functions of the f-keys and cmd-1
Post by: crowman on February 01, 2010, 06:06:45 PM
On my laptop accessing the f-keys is a bit of a hassle.  I'd like to be able to use the gameplay options to set the Cmd+# to replace them.  Currently (I'm on a mac which is why i'm using Cmd instead of Ctrl) pressing Cmd1 adds "Pass or Play" to the chat, but i'd rather that be the command to untap all my cards, as I use that far more often in any game than I would ask "Pass or Play"

Any help would be appreciated.

i too play on mac laptop, macbook pro 13 to be exact. i hold fn and press f keys to access commands.

in mtg:
F1 untap
F2 draw
F8 advance turn etc

there's a checkbox in keyboard and mouse under system prefs that lets you toggle this feature.

works for me, but my gf who has a black macbook can't access these commands as easily and not all of them work

I will make this more customizable in the future.
