Title: GNU/Linux Version
Post by: the man on January 25, 2010, 09:05:21 AM
The website states that a linux port is coming. Is there any progress on that or is there any way to help on it?

I and others have gotten it to run on various flavors of Linux using wine. It isn't terribly stable, tends to crash alot but it does work. Last I spoke with Trevor he was doing some major rewrites of the networking code as well as a few other things so I imagine a linux port will have to wait until that is done at the very least.

Ia am running Gentoo Linux and the wine version in unstable looks to be not liking the programm well. I treid differnt plugins and they all crashed.
Are there any open source parts of the programm we could look at? And are there perhaps any plans to open it completly?

BTW: Are there other programms, that provide online card game functionality?

If you tell me exactly what version of linux and wine you are using and tell me about a repeatable crash, I can fix that.
