Title: People can't see my text/game actions once connected to a game.

I can connect to a server and host/join a game, but I don't seem to be connected after that point. I can type and draw, basically perform all the game actions but cannot actually play. Today's my first day on here so any advice would be appreciated.

Are you in a proxy game? Does it not work all the time, or just with certain people?

yes, it is a proxy game and it does happen with everyone I've tried to play against.
