Title: The comic/manga like online campaign
Post by: yudencow on September 03, 2012, 05:53:33 PM
I played Fiction Fighters, and while still in beta, I enjoyed it a lot.

The main thing that caught my eye was the extensive single player campaign. It was built like a comic book and interrupted for combat which each turn is a part of the comic. It has 2 weaknesses: it looks aweful with the 3D and the sound of paaing pages are horrible.

I thought of making something similar but as following:

A. It would be completely 2D.
B. No sounds for passing pages.
C. The battles and other nonbattle interaction wil not be considered as pages, just their completion including parts important to the story.

Do you think it's a good idea?
How can I make it better?

Well What i'm trying to say is I want to make a narrative tool to tell a card game campaign online. I want it to be done so it would look complete but also quick to produce.

Well i'm planning to have it in 2D, but the idea of serialization helps in asset creations for the sequels.
