Title: A Joke For Design Nerds - Barebones Gaming: The Gaminging
Post by: Cyrus on March 27, 2012, 11:14:22 AM
This game can be played with any number of players, who each bring their own deck of cards that can consist of any number of cards. The object of the game is to reach 10 points.

There are only 2 cards in the game. One is called "Board Position" and grants you 1 point, and the other is called "Response" and it cancels a Board Position card.

Figure out who is going first.
On a turn...
First, draw 2 cards
Then, you may choose to play a Board Position card or pass your turn
If, you play a Board Position card, every other player (starting on your left) has a chance to play a Response card. If they do, your Board Position card is discarded. If no one plays a Response card, your Board Position card comes into play, granting you a point. If you now have 10 points then you win.

...

I realize I'm probably the only person that finds this funny

xD you suck. Responses are the devil spawn. The card should deal with board position after it has been played.

You get a 3'th card, the blank card. You may write whatever you want on the blank card. :)

I agree with wisp, the board position should be dealt with after being played.

I think of it as a multiplayer game with at least 8 players to be fun, that way no one would ever get a board position card in play, just like in edh
