Title: Can I remove that blue cross from the middle of the screen?
Post by: Jynks on October 05, 2011, 06:22:25 AM
When you run lackey for the 1st time there is this blue cross in the middle of the screen... is there anyway to remove this? Is this part of the "skin"

I guess it is a small gripe, but it "is" kinda annoying... would be sweet to remove.

Thanks in advance

That is the indicator of where the center of the table is. I might remove it, or at least give the option to make it invisible.

Yea, i thought it was some spatial thing. It really isn't anything major.. but after scanning awesome cards and getting the plugin working... kinda nasty blue cross thing!

PS - LackeyCCG is awesome... it really is.

The option would be good.

The option would be good.
I generally try not to include options for this sort of thing. There are a billion different little things like that that I could add options for, but doing so would quickly make all of the preferences, including the important stuff, unusable.

I'll just remove the cross and see if anyone misses it.

Not only is it useful for when people using panning, but it is also useful for seeing where your half of the table starts.

I kind of like the blue cross, but I don't mind either way.

Hey, you suggested it. :P I just said it was a good idea. As you can see, there are people who feel strongly enough to take a stand on the issue, so an option may be warranted.  :) Is that the sort of criteria that might influence making such an option?

Also, if you put the options in a columned list (with the boxes all lined up in a row), rather than staggered according to the length of the sentence, it might seem less cluttered with options. Organization is always less overwhelming. It might also influence how you view the inclusion of options yourself.

When the cross appeared in the centre of the playmat, I though that is a kind of a bug caused effect...  ;)
In my opinion this could be used as an option, but not as a default one.
