a friend is trying to install Magic plugin for first time on windows 8.. gave him current Autoupdate url.. but its not working, anyone having trouble loading plugins on a Windows 8 system..

When I initially installed Lackey, I figured out that I always had to open it as an administrator. However, I'm on Windows 7 so I'm not sure if that's possible in 8.
