When I am at a zoom level greater than 100% my drag selection box will appear be in the wrong place.
Also the X mark on the table appears off to the left of where you place it.

Is your table tilted?
Zoom 100%, Scale 100%, Pan 0, Tilt 0.
My playfield screen is rather wide since my computer's resolution is 1366x768. If I make the playfield screen square, by pulling the side bar, then the X's appear at the mouse properly.
Although, a square playfield doesn't change the selection box bug.
